The Flood

The flood is a very large amount of water that covers an area which is usually dry. In the rain season rivers are full to brim. Flood is an incidental thing in nature. The flood is caused in many ways. A heavy rainfall is the main cause. Sometimes rain falls continuously and heavily for days together. The rain-water which falls on plains and mountains most flows into the side of the river. Having received water more than it can hold, the river overflows its banks. Another cause of flood is the melting of snow on the high mountains. Flood generalist comes in the rain season when there is excessive rainfall.
