[Nepali] Beggars

Beggars are a common sight everywhere. The beggar are commonly seen near temples., bathing-ghats, bus parks, fairs and markets. Beggars beg in many ways. Some beg by singing, some by appealing for help in the name of humanity, some by uttering the  name of gods and goddesses. In the past it was thought that the giving of alms and taking of it were sacred acts. Many religious people used to take to begging in their old age. But begging today is quite different. The poor and disabled persons take to begging. When a poor old man does not git any support at home, he goes to begging. Many people leave their homes and become. They put on white or yellowish clothes. They go from door to and ask for alms. Sadhus have great  influence in the villages.
